ATTENTION:

*School will be closed Monday, September 6 for Labor Day.

We have almost officially finished the first month of school!  We have so many new faces this year!  We would like to give a big welcome to all of our families here at Kennedy Academy!

I would like to remind everyone that Picture Day is Tuesday, September 21.  More information will be sent out when we get a little closer to that date.

Please remember to bring all of the items your child will need when school starts:  change of clothes, enrollment packet and two boxes of kleenex.

Your child will also need to remember to bring their nap bedding.  This consists of a backpack, crib sheet, blanket and pillow.  Please remember that the sheet, pillow and blanket must fit easily into the backpack.

I would like to remind everyone to check their child's classroom blog to see what our weekly themes are and what each student may need to bring to school for that week. 

We will begin having our visits from Boomer and the Library Lady this month!  Boomer is a bear that visits our classrooms each month and sings songs and does many different activities with the students!

We look forward to having an exciting, eventful and educational school year!
